I guess you all know that Paris is one of the greatest fashion centers in the world. All the glamor, style, elegance and extravagance is associated with this European capital. It was considered to be the greatest center of fashion worldwide until the 1960’s, when more centres emerged throughout the world.

Since the beginning of the decade, women approached a more girlish style, with short skirts, straightened curves. The skirts’ length was reduced little by little, so in five years becoming the well-known and sexy mini-skirt. The sixties’ are in my opinion a time of color, of style, of elegance, of extravaganza, of change. The style from that period is en vogue even in our times, or at least some specific elements from then.

Also, in the late 60’s, a new movement was born - the hippie movement. In this case, the fashion frontiers were crossed once more for the 60’s period. The outfits were improved, and included bell-bottom jeans, tie-dye and batik fabrics, as well as paisley prints.

A lot of imagination was needed to make the clothes, and also to accesorize them.
