A Woman’s World Online

One of the great bands I listened to a few days ago. I find them relaxing, even though some of their songs take you in a chaotic world of strong guitar sounds and batteries. The rock band from Sacramento jumps from one genre to another, from alternative metal, to progressive, even to experimental rock. Their official site is this. I find Chino Moreno’s voice quite special, and Stephen Carpenter’s guitar doesn’t let me down.

They started from the year 1995, releasing the album “Adrenaline”, and after that appeared “Around the Fur”(1997), “White Pony”(2000), “Deftones”(2003) and the last one was released in 2006, “Saturday Night Wrist”.

I thought I should put this video as a sample. This song makes part of the soundtrack of the movie “Queen of the Damned” starring Aaliyah. It’s called “Change”. Hope you will like it as much as I do.

After quite a while away from the big lights, Janet Jackson is back on the stage with a new music video - Feedback. Last I heard someone making a fuss over her actions was in 2004 when she remained half-topless on stage during a live performance at the Super Bowl (and that thanks to Justin Timberlake). Since then, in 2006 she released a record to celebrate 20 years of Control, and last year starred in Why did I get married? and signed a new record contract with Island Records. She is to release Discipline, a new record, on the 26th of February this year.

Looks like Sarah is not only a good actress, but quite a fashion designer. The good news is that unlike other stars, who sell their products at extremely high prices, according to their “I’m-a-star-and-my-clothes-ideas-are-a-luxury” conception, the Sex and the city star considers clothes a necessity and the prices of her creations are accessible to everyone. You can see for yourselves at Steve and Barry’s stores, throughout the country, this being the only chain of stores where Sarah’s clothes can be found.

Her collection contains all types of clothes and accessories. It was designed for women only, at any age or …size. There are almost 1,000 items, including jeans, woven and knit shirts, suit separates, wool and cashmere sweaters, dresses, jackets, lingerie, t-shirts, sweatshirts, sleepwear, swimwear, bags, jewelry, belts and footwear.
